The 3.3 litre tank is the workhorse of this trade. Sold as 2000g, occasionally 2050g or 2112g depending on who filled it, it carries somewhere around 250 bulbs’ worth of gas and it is what most commercial kitchens settle on once they stop experimenting.
We stock more of these than anything else. The gas is the same across all of them; what you are actually choosing between is fill weight, finish and price.

Read that fill weight column before the price column. A 2112g tank carries about 6% more gas than a 2000g one, which is enough to reorder the list if you are comparing on headline price alone — and it is the detail most comparison pages quietly skip.
How to choose
If cost per serving is the only thing you care about, King Whip 3.3L (2kg) Cream Charger Tank wins, and it happens to be the cheapest tank on the page too. If you want the most gas in a single cylinder, Hotwhip 2112g (3.3L) Cream Charger Tank holds the most. If you want flavour, the flavoured range carries it in the gas rather than as a syrup, so your cream does not thin out.
Ordering
Our minimum is $250 and delivery is free across the provinces over $350, which works out at three or four tanks for most kitchens. That is usually about right anyway — enough to be worth the freight, not so much that the last one goes flat before you reach it. Territory rates are on the shipping page.
One thing surprises people moving up from 8g bulbs: a tank does not screw into the dispenser. It feeds through a pressure regulator and hose into the same inlet the bulb holder uses. You buy the regulator once and it works with every tank and every brand we carry — but if nobody tells you, your first delivery arrives and you cannot use it.
Everything here is food-grade nitrous oxide, sold for culinary use and nothing else. Store tanks upright, below 50 °C, out of direct sun and out of reach of children. You need to be the age of majority in your province to buy.
