The 1364g tank — 2.2 litres — is the one most Canadian suppliers do not bother with, which is the main reason we carry it. It holds roughly 170 bulbs’ worth of gas, putting it squarely between the 640g cylinder and the 2kg tank.
It exists for a specific problem: 640g runs out faster than you would like, but a 2kg tank would still be half full a month later. If that describes your week, this is the format.

Per serving it lands about halfway between the two, which is exactly what you would hope for and exactly what makes it useful.
Who ends up buying it
Cafés, mostly — places serving whipped toppings all day without ever hitting restaurant volume. Also kitchens that have been burned once by a 2kg tank going stale, and would rather pay slightly more per portion than watch gas sit unused again.

One option in this format: GreatWhip 1364G (2.2L) Cream Charger Tank. It takes the same regulator and hose as everything else we sell, so moving between formats later costs nothing.
One thing surprises people moving up from 8g bulbs: a tank does not screw into the dispenser. It feeds through a pressure regulator and hose into the same inlet the bulb holder uses. You buy the regulator once and it works with every tank and every brand we carry — but if nobody tells you, your first delivery arrives and you cannot use it.
Everything here is food-grade nitrous oxide, sold for culinary use and nothing else. Store tanks upright, below 50 °C, out of direct sun and out of reach of children. You need to be the age of majority in your province to buy.
