This policy explains when you can return a cream charger tank and how refunds work. Pressurised gas cylinders cannot be treated like ordinary parcels, so please read this before returning anything.

Damaged, short or incorrect deliveries
Check your delivery as soon as it arrives. If anything is damaged, missing or not what you ordered, email support@smartwhiptanks.ca within 48 hours with your order number and photographs of the item and its packaging.
We will replace it or refund it, whichever you prefer, and we cover the cost. This is the fastest route and the one we recommend.
Unopened stock you no longer want
You can return unopened tanks within 14 days of delivery if they are:
- unused, with the seal intact and the valve untouched;
- in their original undamaged packaging, with any outer case;
- accompanied by your order number.
Contact us first to arrange it. Do not ship a cylinder back without speaking to us — pressurised gas is restricted for transport and most couriers will not carry it unlabelled or undeclared. We will tell you how to send it or arrange collection.
For a change-of-mind return, the cost of return carriage is yours, and we deduct it from the refund if we arrange the collection.
What we cannot take back
- Tanks that have been opened, used, discharged or part-discharged.
- Tanks with a broken seal, a damaged valve, or missing packaging.
- Any product that has been stored or handled unsafely, including exposure to heat.
- Anything returned more than 14 days after delivery without a fault.
This is a safety limit, not a commercial one: we cannot resell a cylinder whose history we cannot verify.
Cancelling before dispatch
You can cancel any time before your order ships and get a full refund with nothing deducted. Email support@smartwhiptanks.ca as early as you can.
How refunds are paid
- We refund once we have received and inspected the return, or straight away for a cancellation.
- Refunds go back the way you paid. An Interac e-Transfer is refunded by e-Transfer to the address you used.
- We usually process within 5 business days; your bank may take a little longer to show it.
- Delivery charges are refunded on faulty, damaged or incorrect orders, but not on change-of-mind returns.
Your statutory rights
Nothing in this policy takes away the consumer protection rights you have under the law of your province or territory.
